| About - A Letter from our Founder God began the vision for forWord Partners more than 10 years ago. It all started in February 1996 at the Promise Keepers Pastors Rally held at the Georgia Dome. I had volunteered as an usher. As a lay person, it was an honor to serve the pastors and clergy that sat in my section. The second day of the event was my 33rd birthday. As I sat there listening to the awesome teachings and worshiping with the nearly 40,000 attendees, God began to challenge me. I started asking myself, “What have I done for the Kingdom? How had I participated in Kingdom Expansion?” God put it on my heart that night that one day I would use all my talents to serve Him in some type of vocational ministry. At the time, I was the principle owner and CEO of a successful telecommunication consulting business. For the next 10 years, I was a serial entrepreneur. I helped start two software companies, wrote several business plans for other businesses and successfully raised millions of dollars in venture capital. I had convinced myself that I would go into ministry financially independent. In September of 2006, six months after helping to orchestrate the formation of the new business that rolled up my company with two others, God made it clear that now was the time. I am not at all close to being financially independent but that was never God’s plan. He wants us to be dependent on Him. I started working with our first ministries in October 2006 and formed forWord Partners, Inc. as a Georgia non-profit corporation in January 2007. I have never felt more fulfilled. My family and I are excited about what God is doing. My passion is to see God’s Kingdom grow and to use my talents to help others succeed in ministry.
